Ina major development in the sexual harassment case involving trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy, key details emerged from the official remand report on July 30. Police reportedly found that the trainee IPS officer had also harassed women in Hyderabad, his native place, and among fellow trainees at the National Police Academy. Investigating officers are actively probing harassment allegations across these locations after discovering similar chats with multiple women.

The remand report stated that the officer and the complainant remained in a relationship for a period before differences emerged. The woman officer was subjected to harassment, physical assault, criminal intimidation, and stalking. Police noted that Uday Krishna Reddy became suspicious and repeatedly harassed her whenever she interacted with others. Although their relationship briefly resumed, it deteriorated again due to his possessive and abusive behaviour, with the remand report claiming he physically assaulted her on five occasions before she submitted an internal complaint to senior academy officials.

According to reports, the complainant got married in May this year, after which the alleged harassment from Uday Krishna Reddy intensified further. Following subsequent physical assaults, she formally approached the Attapur Police station. Police are currently examining digital evidence, while Uday Krishna Reddy remains in judicial remand at Chanchalguda Central Jail per court orders.
