<lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Withheavy rainfall disrupting normal life across Hyderabad, police authorities urged companies and organizations, particularly in Cyberabad limits, to permit employees to work from home wherever feasible and implement staggered early logouts from 2 pm onwards on July 30. Following the advisory, several companies adopted work from home arrangements and allowed employees to leave offices early to ease traffic congestion and ensure commuter safety. The Cyberabad Traffic Police issued the advisory after the India Meteorological Department forecast moderate to heavy rainfall across the city. The move aimed to minimize travel-related risks, reduce pressure on the road network, and ensure uninterrupted movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions. Organizations were requested to inform Cyberabad Traffic Police through email regarding office locations and planned early logout timings to enable better traffic management across major transit corridors.</lang>

<lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Meanwhile, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar urged citizens to remain on high alert as heavy downpours lashed the capital. He advised residents to closely monitor weather updates issued by the India Meteorological Department and plan travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience. The Commissioner personally inspected traffic conditions at Punjagutta and Khairtabad junctions on July 30, directing traffic personnel to ensure smooth vehicular movement and prevent rain-related congestion. VC Sajjanar stated that Hyderabad City Police are working in close coordination with GHMC and other line departments to address civic issues and guarantee public safety. Field personnel have been deployed across vulnerable locations to manage traffic flow and respond to emergencies.</lang>

<lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">The Commissioner cautioned citizens to stay away from open manholes, snapped power lines, and electric poles during heavy rains. Motorists were advised to drive slowly, particularly near waterlogged stretches and flyovers, while exercising extreme caution. With the weather department forecasting continued heavy rainfall over the next two days, the Commissioner appealed to residents to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rain and dial 100 for emergencies or traffic-related assistance. Police advised motorists to ensure headlights, tail lamps, indicators, wipers, and brakes are in proper working order before setting out. For those traveling on highways and the Outer Ring Road, police recommended avoiding over-speeding, as water on the road surface reduces tyre grip and increases skidding risks.</lang>
