        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Incessantrains over the last two days left several roads waterlogged and major stretches in Hyderabad gridlocked on July 30, with commuters facing severe traffic snarls as vehicular movement crawled at a snail's pace. Hyderabad is facing continuous downpours as the weather department predicted two more days of heavy rainfall. The forecast indicates that the weekend will witness heavy rains across Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Hyderabad districts. The western part of the city, especially the IT corridor, witnessed some of the worst traffic snarls, with long queues of vehicles stretching across major thoroughfares. Heavy traffic congestion was reported at Madhapur, Gachibowli, Khajaguda, Kukatpally, Miyapur, and surrounding areas.</lang>

      <p style=".Bodylaser">
        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Moreover, ongoing construction on flyovers, underpasses, and an elevated corridor added to commuter traffic woes during peak hours. Rains disrupted movement across multiple junctions, with key bottlenecks reported around Madhapur, Hitec City, and the Financial District, where commuters experienced extremely slow traffic movement. Downpours left several city roads in hazardous conditions, with waterlogged potholes, uneven road surfaces, and unfinished civic works increasing accident risks and forcing motorists to drive cautiously.</lang>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Meanwhile, a 70-year-old man who was swept away in a storm water drain in Miyapur on the night of July 28 remains untraced. Balaiah, a resident of Hafeezpet, fell into an ongoing storm water drain construction site at the Vaishalinagar railway underpass. Search operations launched by multiple teams since that night have failed to locate the victim so far.</lang>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">The India Meteorological Department Hyderabad issued a red alert predicting very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall for several Telangana districts on Friday, with heavy rainfall ranging between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm likely at isolated places in Hyderabad and surrounding regions. Following the warning, HYDRAA issued a public advisory cautioning commuters and appealing to citizens to contact toll-free number 1070 for assistance regarding waterlogging, low-lying flooding, uprooted trees, overflowing drainage, or Disaster Response Force support. Citizens can also reach the control room directly at 9000113667, 8712406901, or 7337218171 to register complaints and alert DRF personnel. Traffic police from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri commissionerates deployed personnel at key junctions to regulate movement, clear waterlogged stretches, and restore traffic flow alongside HYDRAA and DRF field units.</lang>
