        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">TelanganaCouncil of Higher Education (TGCHE) and the Commissioner of Collegiate Education (CCE), Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST), announced the special phase seat allotment on Thursday. TGCHE Chairman and DOST Convener V Balakista Reddy, alongside Commissioner of Collegiate Education A Sridevasena, declared the special phase allocations. Officials stated that 44,179 candidates were allotted seats based on their first priority choices, while 9,788 candidates secured seats against their second and lower priorities. However, 3,723 applicants exercised web options but failed to secure seat allotment due to specifying limited web options.</lang>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Out of 57,690 candidates who exercised web options in the Special Phase, Commerce emerged as the most sought-after stream with 23,516 students opting for it, followed by Physical Sciences with 10,988, Life Sciences with 10,316, Arts with 9,116, and other streams accounting for 31 candidates, bringing the total number of allocated seats to 53,967.</lang>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">TGCHE informed that candidates allotted seats will receive an SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Applicants can access seat allotment details through candidate logins on the DOST website and via WhatsApp on demand.</lang>
      </p>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">All candidates securing seats in the Special Phase must reserve their allotment through online self-reporting between 30 July and 1 August by paying Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 in the DOST candidate login portal. Students allotted to Government Degree Colleges or University Colleges who are provisionally eligible for ePASS fee reimbursement following caste and income certificate verifications need not pay any amount during online self-reporting.</lang>
      </p>

        <lang class="3" style=".Bodylaser" font="Minion Pro" fontStyle="Regular" size="9">Furthermore, self-reported candidates will receive a CCOTP via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. TGCHE instructed candidates who have self-reported online during the Special Phase to physically report to their respective allotted colleges from 31 July to 1 August by submitting their CCOTP. Candidates failing to report physically within the stipulated timeframe shall forfeit their allotted and self-reported degree seats.</lang>
