JNT University Anantapur (JNTUA) achieved a major national honor by securing the 24th rank and a Gold Rating in the National Green University Rankings 2026, awarded by ‘Green Mentors’. Vice-Chancellor Prof H Sudarsana Rao announced that JNTUA placed among the top 50 national institutions based on ten performance indicators. The rankings evaluated renewable energy, green buildings, decarbonization, greywater reuse, waste segregation, plastic bans, and sustainability courses. VC Prof Sudarsana Rao, Registrar Prof S Krishnaiah, IQAC Director Prof R Padma Suvarna, and Ranking Officer Dr B Om Prakash congratulated the faculty for their dedicated efforts.
