FormerBhupalpally MLAGandraVenkataRamana Reddy on Thursday visited the Minority Residential School and Kasturba Gandhi BalikaVidyalaya (KGBV) at the district headquarters along with BRS leaders and BRSV student representatives. During the visit, he interacted with students to understand the quality of education, accommodation, food and other facilities available on the campus.

After inspecting the institutions, Gandra pointed out several shortcomings, including poor sanitation, cracks in the Minority Residential School building, inadequate lighting and the need for painting and repairs.

At the KGBV, he appealed to the district administration to improve bathroom facilities for girls, install fans and lights in classrooms and establish a dedicated reading hall.

He also urged authorities to undertake mosquito fogging, spread bleaching powder and maintain hygiene during the monsoon to prevent seasonal diseases.

Interacting with teachers and staff, Gandra stressed the need to enhance educational standards and called on the government to ensure quality education and better infrastructure for residential school students.
