Hyderabad:In view of the heavy rains forecast for the next two days, Hyderabad police have appealed to people not to step out of their homes during rains unless absolutely necessary, while Cyberabad Police have advised IT companies to consider work from home wherever possible.

Companies and organisations within the limits of Cyberabad Police Commis-sionerate have also been requested to follow early logout in a staggered manner on Thursday from 2 p.m. so as to minimise travel-related risks, reduce pressure on road infrastructure, and support smooth functioning of essential services dur-ing the adverse weather conditions.

Cyberabad police issued the traffic advisory considering the safety, productivity, likelihood of severe traffic congestion, and for the uninterrupted emergency ser-vices.
