Thecitizens in the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) other than the CURE areas (GHMC, MMC and CMC) can now pay all their bills, including property tax, water charges, trade licence fees, together in one transaction ‘Bill One’ eliminating the need for separate payments.

MAUD secretary TK Sreedevi launched the ‘Bill One’ service for unified municipal payments with a more convenient and citizen-friendly mechanism. The Bill One service enables citizens to pay multiple municipal dues through a single platform.

Under this initiative, citizens can pay property tax, water charges, and trade licence fees together in one transaction, eliminating the need for separate payments. A key feature of the service it generates consolidated demand notice for all the municipal services assigned to the PTIN no. i.e., property tax, water charges and trade licence.

Even if a person has multiple properties same are shown in a single demand notice instead of raising multiple demand notices. It also reduces the burden on the municipality to generate multiple demand notices for various services viz., water charges and trade licence.

The multiple visits to collect different taxes and fees will also be reduced with this initiative. It allows the tax payers to pay in part land also in instalments based on their convenience, thereby providing greater financial flexibility while ensuring timely payment of municipal dues.

The service is available through Handheld Devices (HHDs) used by municipal ward officers/bill collectors and is also accessible through the official online municipal portal https://emunicipal.telangana.gov.in/, enabling citizens to make payments anytime and from anywhere.

The CDMA officials said that the launch of the Bill One service reflects the Government of Telangana's commitment to leverage technology for improved public service delivery, enhancing ease of payment, and promoting greater transparency and convenience in municipal governance.

Citizens are encouraged to make use of this new facility for seamless, secure, and hassle-free payment of their municipal dues.
