WardhannapetMLA KR Nagaraju distributed ex gratia compensation cheques to the farmers who had suffered losses due to their electrocution, at the Wardhannapet Municipal Office on Friday.

He assured the beneficiaries that they should not lose hope if they suffer accidental loss of cattle, as the government would extend financial assistance through ex gratia compensation.

Following the recent deaths of several cattle due to electrocution in Parvathagiri mandal, the MLA immediately took up the matter with the concerned officials and directed them to provide compensation without delay.

He said the Congress Government is committed to supporting farmers in every possible way.

Parvathagiri Sarpanch Shankar, Anaram Sarpanch Mahender, ADE Tirupathi, public representatives, farmers, and others were present on the occasion.
