WarangalWest MLA Naini Rajender Reddy said on Friday that the government is moving ahead with a well-planned strategy to transform Warangal into a model city; Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been giving special attention to the city’s development.

Reddy stressed that development works must be completed within the stipulated timeframe and with high quality, warning officials and contractors against showing negligence even in small works.

He laid foundations for development works worth nearly Rs 1 crore in Sahakar Nagar and Revenue Colony(50th division) and in the Sikhwada area of Kakatiya Colony(9th division) of the constituency. He said the works were sanctioned keeping in view needs of locals.

Reddy asserted that the government would not compromise on development of Warangal city. A special action plan is being implemented to improve internal roads, drainage, water pipelines, street lights and other infrastructure. The government is committed to identifying public issues and providing permanent solutions.

The MLA instructed officials to ensure every work undertaken with public funds is executed transparently, maintaining high quality and completed within the deadline. Even small works have a direct impact on daily lives of people and must be carried out with utmost responsibility. He expressed confidence the projects would significantly improve transportation and sanitation in the colonies.

Reddy said his objective is to remain in constant touch with people, understand their problems and ensure development of every division. He reaffirmed commitment to developing the constituency in all sectors and creating a model living environment for its residents.
