Prakasamdistrict collector P Raja Babu said the government and district administration remain accessible to people at all times to provide required services. He toured Ponduru village in Tanguturu mandal on Friday morning, following the Palle Nidra programme held on Thursday night, and examined issues raised by villagers and local leaders.

The collector inspected irrigation canals, an Anganwadi school, the SC colony, drinking water problems, lift irrigation works, and waste-to-wealth centres. He said the Palle Nidra was launched to ensure the quick resolution of problems and to review the implementation of government schemes through direct interaction with people.

The collector noticed a road connecting three mandals during the programme and inspected it. He ordered a free insulin supply for a girl child, Akshaya, suffering from diabetes since birth. Zilla Praja Parishad chief executive officer Chiranjeevi, DWMA project director Joseph Kumar, and other officials participated.
