Fourstudents from PM SHRI Zilla Parishad High School, Nunna, in Vijayawada Rural mandal of NTR district, have been selected to represent Andhra Pradesh in the HEAL National Level Archery Championship, to be held in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from July 12 to 14.

The selected students—D Amarkumar Priyadarshi, P Abhi Ram, Y Suma Sri, and Krishna Suriya-- will compete in the compound archery event. They were chosen for the state team based on their talent demonstrated during the selection trials.

The Andhra Pradesh contingent departed from Vijayawada for Noida on Friday.

The talented young archers have been receiving professional training at the Cherukuri Volga Archery Academy in Vijayawada. Their achievements have been supported and encouraged by the school’s Physical Education Teachers, T Sri Latha and T Vijaya Varma, who have played a key role in nurturing their sporting talent.
