NelloreAPSRTC Zonal Chairman Sannapureddy Suresh Reddy celebrated his birthday on Friday by organising free mega medical camps under the banner ‘Welcome to a happy and healthy family’ for APSRTC employees and their family members across the district.

Specialist medical teams from Narayana Hospital, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Jayabharath Hospital, Government General Hospital, ESI Hospital and District Medical and Health Department participated in the camps. Employees underwent comprehensive health check-ups, including general medical examinations, eye screening, cardiac evaluations, diabetes and blood pressure tests, besides receiving expert medical advice. Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy praised Sannapureddy Suresh Reddy for organising medical camps. He said after assuming charge as APSRTC Zonal Chairman, Suresh Reddy had launched several innovative welfare initiatives for RTC employees and assured his full support for such programmes in future.

Suresh Reddy said RTC employees often face health issues due to their demanding work schedules and long-distance duties. He urged employees and their family members to make use of the free medical camps.

RTC Depot Regional Manager Shameem, GGH Superintendent Dr Madhavi, senior APSRTC officials and others were present.
