Kotha cinema, a special Telugu movie, has been created by the local Godavarikhani talents and is going to be released soon, presenting almost 100 new faces to Tollywood. Starring Suresh and Rakesh, debut director Azhar directed the film. Mohammed Wasim Akram, Sagi Sudheer Rao, and Yadandla Satish Yadav are the producers of the movie. Recently, a press meet was held in Hyderabad to release the promotional song ‘Memu Kuda Cinema Teesinamuro.’

The song, which has been composed and tuned by Charan Arjun, narrates the dreams of the young aspirants from Godavarikhani who wish to make a career in film industry but who do not get the required platform. The function was graced by the presence of Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Thakur, producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, director Sailu Kampati, actor RK Sagar, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, the director said, “It is a message to the people that cinema is not the exclusive preserve of the city and that even in the village, with the local talent, one can make good films.” Suresh, a local shopkeeper, and Rakesh, an employee of Singareni, quickly pointed out that they had participated in the local auditions and grabbed the chance. They called upon the people to support the new talent.

Meanwhile, the producer of the film, Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, who also watched the movie, praised the unit for doing a fabulous job. The MLA also congratulated them for their first venture saying that the government would support such films that promote the local talent. He also hoped that it would motivate many young people in Telangana to take up direction and screenplay.
