CollectorIla Tripathi has directed that the Special Intensive Revision process undertaken by the Election Commission of India for the preparation of a transparent voter list should be carried out properly and completed within the specified time.

The Collector visited several places on Thursday and inspected the ongoing processes of receiving enumeration forms and digitizing details as part of SIR.

The details of receiving enumeration forms and registration were closely examined in Gandhinagar Thanda and Goopanpalli villages in Nizamabad Rural and Shankar Bhavan School in Nizamabad city. He inquired about the percentage of completion of the SIR process so far, whether the distribution of enumeration forms to all voters has been completed, etc. Information should also be provided to voters who are not available and they should be ensured to return their enumeration forms within the deadline. The Collector advised the BLOs to carefully examine the enumeration forms of those who have gone abroad for livelihood and after checking the details, they can be taken with the signature of their family members. He said that the receipt of enumeration forms and digitalization of details should be carried out simultaneously.
