Districtcollector Kirti Chekuri on Thursday conducted a field inspection at Yadavolu village in Devarapalli mandal as part of the process of identifying and allocating land to the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) for the proposed Industrial Park. Accompanied by Kovvur Revenue Divisional Officer K Ananda Rao and officials from the Revenue, Survey and other departments, the collector examined the proposed land parcels and reviewed key aspects, including the nature and extent of the land, road connectivity, availability of infrastructure and the suitability of the site for industrial development.

Speaking on the occasion, Kirti Chekuri said the State government was giving high priority to industrial development in the district.

She said that the proposed Industrial Park would create employment opportunities for local youth while contributing to the region’s economic growth. She directed officials to expedite the processes related to land allocation, preparation of technical reports, and the verification of revenue records. She said all aspects would be examined in accordance with government norms before taking further steps for establishing theIndustrial Park.
