Followingthe directions of Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana, 14th Division Corporator Kartam Pratap Reddy along with Sanitation Inspector K Pradeep and sanitation secretaries inspected sanitation works in the division on Thursday.

Corporator Pratap Reddy supervised maintenance of drainage systems and door-to-door garbage collection process, removal of plastic waste dumped on vacant lands and desilted mud from drains. He appealed to residents not to dump household wastage or plastic materials on roads as indiscriminate dumping of garbage on roads not only leads to unhygienic conditions and will become breeding grounds for mosquitoes. He asked them to handover their household waste to municipality vehicles. Reiterating the importance of public participation, Pratap Reddy called upon residents to work together with municipal authorities to keep the surroundings clean and transform 14th Division into a model division in the city.
