TheKurnool District Yoga Association in a press release on Thursday has has announced that the Kurnool District-Level Yoga Tournament-cum-Selection Trials will be held on July 16 at the United Club.

The event will be organised under the leadership of United Club President Bhimeshwar Reddy and Secretary Balaram.

District Yoga Association Chairman Lakshmikanth Reddy, President Avinash Shetty and Secretary Muniswamy said the competition aims to identify talented yoga practitioners from across the district for higher-level competitions.

The organisers stated that the selection trials will be conducted for both male and female participants across various age categories, including 8–10, 10–12, 12–14, 14–16, 16–18, 18–21, 21–25, 25–30, 30–35, 35–45 and above 45 years.

Outstanding performers at the district-level event will earn the opportunity to represent Kurnool district in the 51st Andhra Pradesh State Yoga Championship, which will be organised shortly under the aegis of the Yoga Sports Association of Andhra Pradesh.

The association has invited yoga enthusiasts from across the district to participate in the selection trials.

Interested participants can directly register at the venue by paying an entry fee of Rs.50.
