WorldKarate Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at SFS School under the leadership of Telangana Lee Martial Arts Academy Founder-President and renowned karate master Edla Venkatesh. Karate students showcased their skills through kata and sparring demonstrations while raising patriotic slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, “Jai Hind”, and “Vande Mataram”.

A special attraction of the event was a blindfolded self-defence demonstration by Edla Venkatesh, who explained techniques to protect oneself from attackers and respond confidently in difficult situations. Addressing the gathering, he said karate symbolises discipline, regular practice, and self-confidence, urging parents to encourage children to undergo karate training for a secure and successful future.

Several students from different belt categories, including black belt holders Edla Rithvik, Sai Nihal and Vaibhav Tej, participated in the celebrations.
