He ordered a meeting with tobacco buyers and suggested exploring storage options to help farmers secure better prices. He also called for plans to promote the cultivation of high-demand pulse crops and instructed officials to continuously analyse market trends before making crop planning decisions. Highlighting the need to improve farmer incomes, Naidu stressed value addition in agriculture and horticulture and directed officials to hold consultations with aqua farmers, industry associations and aqua feed manufacturers to address sector-specific concerns. Reiterating the government's commitment to supporting farmers during challenging times, the Chief Minister said all policy decisions should be aimed at improving farm profitability and ensuring long-term sustainability.
