Thecoalition government is steering Andhra Pradesh towards rapid development after overcoming the financial constraints and setbacks faced during the previous five years, asserted Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha and Anakapalli in-charge and Minister for Mines and Geology Kollu Ravindra.

Addressing the ‘Two years of NDA Government in AP’ programme organised at NTR stadium here on Wednesday, the ministers said the NDA government in AP led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is giving equal priority to both welfare and development, ensuring balanced growth across the state.

They stated that Andhra Pradesh is witnessing unprecedented development works valued at nearly Rs.23 lakh crore with projects worth Rs.4 lakh crore to Rs.5 lakh crore alone being undertaken in Anakapalli district.

They noted that a large-scale infrastructure, industrial and welfare initiatives are transforming the district into a major growth hub of the state.

Railway Standing Committee Chairman and Anakapalli Member of Parliament CM Ramesh said the NDA government at the Centre and the coalition government in the state have delivered remarkable progress through coordinated governance. He said the concept of a double-engine government has accelerated development works across the state with strong support from the Centre.

Highlighting the achievements of the Union government, CM Ramesh said the railway budget has increased significantly from Rs.25,000 crore to Rs.2.65 lakh crore under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, enabling rapid expansion and modernisation of railway infrastructure across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu stated the alliance government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is fulfilling the promises made to the people during the elections. He said development works worth at least Rs.1,000 crore are being taken up in every constituency while simultaneously addressing public welfare commitments and financial obligations.

A rally was carried out from the Jana Sena Party office in Anakapalli to the venue. The stadium reverberated with slogans supporting the coalition government and its development agenda.

MLAs Konathala Ramakrishna, Kalidindi Surya Naga Sanyasi Raju, Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, Sundarapu Vijay Kumar and MLC Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, along with several public representatives and party leaders, attended the programme.
