Markinganother milestone in advanced healthcare, Narayana Medical College Hospital has performed first robotic knee replacement surgery successfully on Wednesday, thus introducing state-of-the-art orthopedic robotic surgery services for the people of the region.

Addressing the media on Wednesday, Dr P Srinivasulu Reddy, Dean, Narayana Medical College, stated that a new chapter has begun in knee replacement surgeries.

Dr Biju Ravindran, Coordinator of Narayana Medical Institutions and Head of the Department of Orthopedics, said that Narayana has already been offering conventional total knee replacement surgery at an affordable cost of just Rs 95,000. To further enhance patient care and provide latest treatment options, the hospital has now introduced robotic knee replacement surgery and successfully completed the first procedure.
