DistrictCollector Divakara T.S. on Wednesday directed officials and political parties to work in coordination to ensure that every eligible citizen is included in the electoral rolls as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme.

Addressing a meeting with representatives of various political parties at the Collectorate Conference Hall, the Collector said the field-level Special Intensive Revision exercise would commence from June 25 across the district. He urged all political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) for every polling station and submit the details of their nominees without delay. Political parties that have not yet completed the process were asked to do so immediately.Divakar said Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLAs should jointly participate in the door-to-door enumeration process to ensure accuracy and transparency. He instructed that voters whose details have not yet been mapped should submit any one of the prescribed 11 supporting documents to the concerned Booth Level Officer.
