FormerMinister Sabitha Indra Reddy alleged that the Congress party had come to power by making several promises during the elections but failed to implement them after assuming office.

She accused Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy of neglecting public issues and expressed confidence that the BRS would return to power in the next elections.

A BRS digital membership enrolment drive and awareness camp on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was held at Kuntla Ram Reddy Garden in Shadnagar under the leadership of former MLA on Wednesday.

Anjaiah Yadav. former Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Palamuru MLC Surabhi Vani Devi, party leaders and a large number of workers attended the programme.

Speaking on the voter survey process, Sabitha urged booth-level agents to remain vigilant and ensure that the names of party supporters, well-wishers and workers were correctly included in the electoral rolls. She also announced that the party would organise special training programmes on the issue.

Referring to the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, Sabitha Indra Reddy claimed that the government accelerated the project works only after sustained pressure from the opposition BRS.

Palamuru MLC Surabhi Vani Devi said the aspirations of the people had been fulfilled with the formation of Telangana and highlighted the development achieved during the BRS regime in the fields of education, healthcare, agriculture and welfare. She opined that the return of a BRS government was necessary for the continued welfare of the people.

Former MLA Y Anjaiah Yadav stated that the BRS government had played a significant role in the development of the Shadnagar constituency.

He said the Lakshmidevipalli Reservoir was the vision of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and alleged that the attitude of Congress leaders was responsible for delays in the project.

Party in-charge Baikani Srinivas Yadav called upon party workers to take the digital membership drive forward as a mass movement. He also urged party activists and polling booth agents to discharge their responsibilities effectively during the voter survey process.
