UnionMinister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma participated in a series of service and development programmes in Karnataka’s Belagavi on Tuesday as part of events marking the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. According to a statement issued by the minister’s office in Bhimavaram, Srinivasa Varma took part in a Swachhata Abhiyan programme held in the Shivaji Garden area of Shahapur, where he joined volunteers in a cleanliness drive and undertook Shramdaan.

He also planted saplings and offered special prayers at Basaveshwara Garden in Gova. Later, he interacted with party workers over coffee at a Food Zone outlet and held an informal discussion on various issues. As part of his visit, Srinivasa Varma inspected the construction works of the new terminal building at Belagavi Airport and reviewed the progress of the project on the ground. He highlighted the importance of public participation in service activities and development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and community welfare.
