TheDepartment of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at SRKREngineering College, here, would organise a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Emerging Trends and Challenges in Electric Vehicle Technologies” from June 29 to July 3 in offline mode. The programme is being conducted in association with JNTU-Kakinada (JNTUK). College Principal Dr KV Muralikrishnam Raju released the FDP brochure at his chamber.

Speaking on the occasion, Raju said that the increasing adoption of environmentally-friendly electric vehicles across the country has created a strong need for advanced technical knowledge in the field. Head of the EEE Department Dr BRK Varma stated that experts from premier institutions such as IITs and NITs, along with industry specialists, would deliver lectures and training sessions during the five-day programme. Programme Coordinator Dr G Shyam Naresh informed that Dr K Ravindra, Professor in the EEE Department of JNTUK College of Engineering, is serving as the co-coordinator for the programme. He further said that Dr G Kusuma, Associate Professor, and Dr D Anantha Koteswara Rao, Assistant Professor of the SRKR EEE Department, are coordinating the event.
