BJPstate official spokesperson, and Telugu and Sanskrit Academy Chairman RD Wilson said India had risen from the world’s 10th-largest economy to the 5th-largest under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He addressed a press meet in Ongole on Tuesday, highlighting what he called the transformative achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government over the past 12 years.

Wilson said the Digital India initiative had revolutionised financial transactions through UPI payments and that the expansion of 5G services had improved digital connectivity across the country. He credited the Goods and Services Tax and the ‘One Nation, One Tax’ framework for streamlining taxation and strengthening economic integration.

Wilson said India’s hosting of the G-20 Summit and the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission reflected the country’s growing global influence and scientific strength. He described the 12-year tenure as marked by decisive governance and inclusive development.

BJP Prakasam district president Seggam Srinivasa Rao, AP Cells co-convener Dr N Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy, district general secretary Makineni Amarasimham, former district president P Sivareddy, and others also participated in the programme.
