Highlightinga balanced approach between massive rural infrastructure and social welfare, Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Tuesday declared that the state government has successfully restored land security and accelerated employment generation during its two years in office.

Addressing the Second Anniversary Vijayotsava Sabha at Kasturi Devi Gardens, Minister Anam announced the absolute abolition of the controversial Land Titling Act, which has been replaced by the farmer-centric “Mee Bhoomi – Mee Hakku” initiative. He revealed that the state has distributed 23 lakh Pattadar Passbooks so far, with a hard target of hitting one crore passbooks across Andhra Pradesh by the end of 2026. In Nellore district alone, 70,000 passbooks have been handed over following extensive record corrections across 6,700 villages.

The convention served as a showcase of massive regional progress. Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy praised the joint leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, while various legislators listed breakthrough statistics. Gudur MLA Pasam Sunil Kumar highlighted works worth Rs 3,000 crore in his segment, while Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh announced an upcoming Rs 2,500-crore defence manufacturing facility near Duttalur.

On the spiritual front, Minister Anam announced a major Rs 808-crore allocation for the renovation of 684 temples statewide, coupled with Rs 73.99 crore under the Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam Scheme for 6,100 shrines. The grand meeting was closely supervised by District Collector Himanshu Shukla and Joint Collector Mogili Venkateswarlu.
