TelanganaGovernor Shiv Pratap Shukla has called upon the nation’s youth to emerge as proactive changemakers and lead India’s transition into a developed nation by 2047 through innovation, volunteerism, and social responsibility.

The Governor made these remarks during an interaction with Bisathi Bharath—a MY Bharat representative, National Youth Award recipient, and social entrepreneur hailing from Andhra Pradesh—at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi.

On the occasion, Bharath presented his book, Changemaker: From Action to Impact, which chronicles his fifteen-year journey in grassroots social service, originating from a remote village in Anantapur district and expanding onto national and international platforms.

The publication highlights extensive interventions in youth empowerment, life skills education, career guidance, blood donation, and environmental conservation.

Briefing the Governor, Bharath explained how his community-driven initiatives have benefited thousands of young individuals across the country.

Warmly appreciating the efforts, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla underscored the necessity of robust youth participation in nation-building.

He emphasized that the aspirations of a developed India by 2047 can only be realized when the country’s youth channel their talent into creating inclusive social progress.

The dialogue also explored strategies for leveraging volunteerism to tackle localized community challenges. The meeting was also attended by prominent youth icon Abhash Kumar Chowbey, adding further significance to the interaction centered on active citizenship.
