DistrictCollector Rizwan Basha Shaik visited the Primary Health Centre in Rajoli on Tuesday. Upon inspecting the staff attendance register, he took a serious view of the fact that two employees—Ranjith Kumar and Kishtamma—had failed to record their attendance for several days; he subsequently directed senior officials of the Medical and Health Department to issue show-cause notices to them.

Noting the low patient turnout at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), the Collector directed the medical staff to improve their performance and ensure the public makes full use of the medical facilities provided by the government. He expressed displeasure over the failure to thoroughly review and update various registers. After inspecting different departments within the hospital, the Collector warned that appropriate action would be taken if the staff did not improve their performance within a month.

During his visit to the Rajoli Kasturba Vidyalaya, the Collector checked staff attendance and inquired about personnel details. He questioned why students had not yet arrived, given that educational institutions had reopened two days prior. He advised the staff to contact the students’ parents and take the initiative to ensure the students attended school.

Subsequently, the Collector inspected various sections of the facility and expressed displeasure with the staff upon noticing that no food was being prepared for students arriving for admissions.

He assured that the drainage issue at the school would be resolved and that efforts would be made to expedite the construction of additional classrooms and the compound wall. Earlier, Shaik directed officials to curb illegal sand transportation and ensure that sand is supplied to consumers in accordance with regulations. On Tuesday, the Collector visited the Rajoli mandal headquarters and conducted a surprise inspection of the nearby Thummilla sand ramp.

He emphasized the need for robust measures to prevent illegal sand transport and inquired about the ramp’s operations. He stressed the importance of continuous monitoring via CCTV cameras and directed officials from the Mining, Police, and Revenue departments to work in coordination. He also inspected the registers maintained at the site and issued appropriate instructions.

Later, when Rajoli village Sarpanch Gangireddy and Deputy Sarpanch Sandhyareddy brought various issues to his attention, he promised to work towards resolving them.

Tahsildar Rammohan, MPDO Syed Khan, Markfed DM Chandramouli, SI Gokari, and others accompanied him during the visit.
