Theannual Brahmotsavam of Goddess Yellamma at Dharveshipuram (Parvathagiri) in Kanagal Mandal of Nalgonda district, under the supervision of the Endowments Department, will be held from June 23 to June 25, according to Temple Chairman Chideti Venkat Reddy and Executive Officer Ambati Nagi Reddy.

As part of the festival preparations, wall posters and pamphlets related to the annual fair were unveiled by R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called upon devotees and organisers to ensure the successful conduct of the Brahmotsavam and directed officials to provide all necessary facilities for pilgrims. As part of the festivities, the Goddess Kalyana Mahotsavam will be conducted at 10:30 am on June 24. This will be followed by a Maha Annadanam (mass community feast) for devotees at 1:00 pm. On June 25, a Shatakataabhishekam will be performed at 8:00 a.m., while the traditional Bonalu procession from two villages will be organized at 4:00 p.m., temple authorities said.

Temple officials stated that thousands of devotees participate in the annual fair every year, with pilgrims arriving not only from Nalgonda district but also from various parts of Telangana.

They added that extensive arrangements are being made to conduct the Brahmotsavam with devotion, grandeur, and traditional fervour. Endowments Department Assistant Commissioner K Bhaskar, J Chandrayya, Kusam Upender Reddy, chief priest Nagoju Mallachari, priest Gade Damodar Rao, and members of the temple governing body took part in the programme.
