Khammam:District Collector Divakara TS directed officials to take coordinated measures to resolve land disputes arising from forest and revenue boundary issues in the district. At a review meeting on Tuesday, the Collector assessed issues relating to forest and revenue land boundaries with officials from the concerned departments.

Divakar said the district administration has initiated steps to address disputes involving forest and revenue land boundaries and emphasized the need for close coordination between departments to ensure effective resolution. The Collector reviewed issues related to CA land mutations, forest-revenue boundary disputes, and problems concerning lands covered under the Recognition of Forest Rights (RoFR) Act. He sought inputs from field-level officials on the status of these cases and the challenges being faced in resolving them. Divakar also directed officials to take steps for sanctioning borewells to lands covered under RoFR pattas. Referring to RoFR titles distributed in 2008 and 2021-22, he asked officials to conduct field-level inquiries into pending issues.
