BRS Working President KTR strongly condemned the government for deploying police to lathi-charge unemployed youth and police job aspirants who were peacefully agitating for their legitimate demands and job recruitment in Dilsukhnagar.

KTR lashed out, stating that chasing down aspirants who were protesting democratically and arresting them illegally is definitive proof of the Congress government's arrogance and authoritarianism. He questioned whether suppressing students and the unemployed using police forces was the Indiramma Praja Palana promised by the Congress party.

He noted that the government has remained entirely indifferent despite students in Hyderabad and across various universities staging numerous protests over several days demanding the issuance of job recruitment notifications.

KTR accused the Congress party of deceiving unemployed youth to gain power by making tall claims such as filling two lakh government jobs in a single year, issuing mega notifications, and releasing a job calendar, only to now dash their hopes.

He termed it completely unjust that the government is attempting to wash its hands of the matter by filling only 5,000 posts when over 20,000 police vacancies exist in the state.

He demanded the immediate release of a mega notification to fill 20,000 police constable posts as demanded by the unemployed, keeping in mind the future of candidates undergoing training at coaching centres whilst facing financial hardships. KTR condemned the illegal arrest of Unemployed JAC leaders and students in Dilsukhnagar, demanding their unconditional and immediate release. He warned that if the government attempts to stifle voices using lathis, its days in power are numbered.
