New Delhi:Copper prices fell marginally by Rs 9.90 to Rs 1,330.85 per kilogram in the futures trade amid muted demand in the domestic spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the copper contract for June delivery slipped 0.74 per cent, to Rs 1,330.85 per kg in 1,853 lots. Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on the red metal prices in futures trade.

Aluminium futures fall on low bets

Aluminium prices dropped marginally by Rs 4.25 to Rs 352.55 per kg in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets. Aluminium for delivery in June fell 1.19 per cent in 993 lots.

Zinc futures ease on weak trend

Zinc prices fell Rs 2.30 to Rs 367.60 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues in the spot market. Zinc contracts for June delivery slipped 0.62 per cent in 285 lots.
