Stressingthat discipline plays an equally important role alongside education, Ravula Giridhar said students can achieve greater success only by combining academic excellence with strong values and responsibility.

Addressing a programme organised by Venkat Foundation at V Convention in Karimnagar on Saturday, Giridhar advised students not to become complacent after securing high marks. He said real satisfaction comes through consistent hard work and achieving long-term goals. He also urged students to understand their responsibilities towards society, parents and their own future by remaining disciplined and focused.

As many as 196 Class 10 students of the 2025–26 academic year received the Gampa Vajramma Educational Award along with a gold medal and a cash incentive of Rs 3,000 each. School headmasters were also felicitated for guiding the students.

Income Tax Principal Commissioner S. Murali Mohan attended as the chief guest and distributed gold medals and certificates. He appreciated the Foundation for supporting underprivileged students and promoting education, while encouraging students to work with determination until they achieved their goals. The Y. Raghunatham Excellence Award, presented for the past three years, was conferred on Konda Venu Murthy. The selection was made by Lions Club and Eye Hospital, Karimnagar. Murthy praised the Foundation’s contribution towards education and social service. Venkateswara Rao lauded Foundation chairman Gampa Venkat for his commitment to social service and said contributing to society reflected true humanitarian spirit.

Parents appreciated the initiative, stating that such encouragement at an early stage motivates children to aim higher and build a strong future. Around 700 people attended the programme.
