A programme on the preparation of natural farming seed pellets was organised on Saturday at the Rythu Seva Kendram (RSK) in Nandarada village, Rajanagaram Mandal, under the Rajahmundry division. The initiative was conducted under the auspices of the Rythu Sadhikara Samstha (A.P.C.N.F).

District Project Manager Tatarao and NFA Gautam attended the event as chief guests. Speaking on the occasion, DPM Tatarao advised farmers practicing natural farming to adopt the PMDS (Pre-Monsoon Dry Sowing) method. He suggested preparing seed pellets using various seeds, including black gram, green gram, cowpeas, sorghum, chickpeas, and dhaincha (green manure).

“Broadcasting these seed pellets in the fields before the early monsoon rains not only ensures healthy germination but also effectively prevents seed-borne diseases,” Tatarao explained.
