Familiesof CMRF beneficiaries hailed MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy after he distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth Rs 44 lakh to 150 beneficiaries from seven Assembly constituencies in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

The cheques were distributed at the MP’s camp office near Gattayya Centre in Khammam city in the presence of several Congress leaders and public representatives.

Beneficiaries and their family members expressed gratitude to Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy for facilitating financial assistance for medical treatment through the CMRF scheme. Many of them said the support had come as a major relief at a time when they were struggling to meet rising healthcare expenses in private and corporate hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said the Congress government in Telangana was committed to extending healthcare support to poor and needy families and ensuring that deserving beneficiaries receive assistance without delay.

He stated that special efforts were being made to expedite the scrutiny of applications and sanction relief funds quickly for those facing medical emergencies.

Later, the MP also distributed khaki shirts to around 100 auto drivers belonging to different auto unions in the city and assured continued support to workers in the transport sector.

State Warehousing Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao, SUDA Chairman Puvvalla Durgaprasad, TPCC General Secretary Maddineni Swarnakumari and several Congress leaders attended the programme.
