Rangareddydistrict Congress president Narasimha Reddy called upon newly appointed party presidents to work unitedly under the leadership of Veerlapalli Shankar and strengthen the Congress party across the constituency.

Addressing a meeting held at the MLA camp office in Shadnagar town, Narasimha Reddy, along with MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, handed over appointment letters to the newly elected municipal and mandal Congress presidents.

He said the Congress party follows a systematic organisational structure and changes party presidents once every four years as per the decisions of national leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.

He stated that the selection of new presidents in municipalities and mandals across the State was carried out under the leadership of PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan.

He praised Veerlapalli Shankar for actively participating in several programmes across the district and working tirelessly to enhance the party’s image. Stating that the MLA has been carrying the party’s responsibilities almost single-handedly, Narasimha Reddy urged the newly appointed presidents to share the burden and work collectively for the party’s growth. He also appreciated former presidents for playing a key role in the Congress party’s electoral victory.

The DCC president alleged that the BJP was attempting to manipulate voter lists and called upon party leaders to effectively counter any such conspiracies.

He said BLOs were being prepared through the party to closely monitor voter-related issues and prevent deletion of opposition votes. He opined that safeguarding votes would be crucial for the Congress party’s success in future elections.
