The proposals formulated by Telangana DISCOMs (power distribution companies) to join the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), an initiative implemented by the Union government for the development of power distribution and infrastructure, was also ratified in the Cabinet meeting. The previous BRS government, TGSPDCL, and the Union government had already entered a tripartite agreement in 2017 to join the RDSS. The Minister clarified that the state government would not accept the installation of smart meters to agricultural pump sets.

Mid-Day Meal Scheme would be implemented in all junior colleges across the state, Srinivas Reddy said. The government also decided to provide breakfast and milk to students in all junior colleges from the new academic year.

The District Cooperative Marketing Societies (DCMS) would be merged with MARKFED. The Telangana Rural Infrastructure Corporation (TRIC) was merged with the Hyderabad Agricultural Cooperative Association (HACA).
