Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao called upon the people to reject the “deceitful politics” of the Congress and BRS parties, accusing both of rampant corruption and of betraying the public's trust—especially the State’s farmers and youth.

Addressing the media, Rao asserted that the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has set a national standard for good governance and corruption-free administration for over a decade. “Today, the educated, intellectuals, youth, and women are closely observing the BJP’s track record and the transparent governance delivered by Prime Minister Modi,” he emphasised. Rao highlighted that citizens across India, particularly the younger generation, are increasingly placing their hopes in the BJP.

Citing recent developments in Telangana, Rao accused the Congress government of following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the BRS, by allegedly prioritising vested interests over public welfare. He alleged that both parties have pushed the State deeper into debt through mega projects and commissions, while failing to address core issues.

“The public sees through the Congress government’s attempts to mask self-interest as development, especially with DPRs worth thousands of crores,” he said.
