Veteran Telugu actor Nagarjuna turned emotional while reflecting on the special significance of May 23, a date deeply connected to both his personal and professional journey. The occasion became even more memorable as his cult classic family drama Manam completed 12 years since its release.

Celebrating the milestone, Annapurna Studios shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, describing Manam as more than just a film.

The production house called it “an emotion cherished by audiences,” remembering the movie’s timeless storytelling and emotional legacy.

The banner also highlighted how May 23 remains a landmark date in Nagarjuna’s life. It was on the same day in 1986 that the actor first faced the camera as a lead hero for Vikram.

Years later, May 23 gained even greater emotional weight when Manam released as the final on-screen appearance of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
