HanumakondaDCC president and Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Inagala Venkata Rao Reddy on Friday strongly criticised the baseless allegations being intentionally made against MLA Naini Rajender Reddy, who, he said, has been tirelessly working for development after winning with blessings of people. He warned that the party would not tolerate the false propaganda being spread against the MLA for political purposes under any circumstances.

Speaking as the chief guest at a media conference at the party office, Reddy stated that the MLA has been working with dedication towards solving public issues and implementing development programmes. He alleged that there is a clear political conspiracy behind the false accusations being made against such a leader.

He accused the BRS and BJP leaders of deliberately dragging the MLA into controversies related to temple matters as part of their political drama. He questioned why, if ancient idols had truly been discovered, the Endowments and Archaeology officials were not informed. He criticised certain individuals for bringing ready-made idols and creating political drama while the government and the local MLA are working to protect government lands. He further alleged that BRS and BJP are jointly attempting to mislead the public and said that the dramas are being created because of their declining popularity in surveys. Some people are trying to gain political mileage in the name of idols to encroach vacant lands in the city.

Reddy recalled that the MLA had contributed personal funds for the development of the Shayampet Hanuman Temple. He said the public is fully aware of the MLA’s devotion and commitment. There is only one true devotee of Hanuman; the rest is merely political showmanship.

He claimed they have evidence that idols were manufactured in Rajasthan and that payments related to them were made through leaders of the opposing party itself. He advised against spreading misleading political messages among youth. Attempts to damage the party and MLA through false propaganda would never succeed.
