Reviewing drinking water availability, the Chief Minister instructed departments to ensure there is no shortage in either rural or urban regions and directed immediate tanker supply to water-stressed habitations. The government is also setting up emergency response centres across multiple districts to strengthen heatwave preparedness and medical response systems. During the review, officials recalled that Andhra Pradesh had recorded a peak temperature of 50.1 degree centigrade during the 2015 El Nino year and warned that current weather conditions were again showing severe El Nino-linked patterns.

Naidu directed officials to intensify plantation and groundwater recharge efforts, stating that improved green cover could help reduce long-term heat intensity.
