Withthe core vision of ensuring ‘Access to justice for all’, a special Lok Adalat initiative named ‘Samadhan Samaroh’ will be conducted under the aegis of Supreme Court of India from August 21 to 23. This was announced in a press statement on Friday by Gandham Sunitha, the Principal District Judge and Chairperson of District Legal Services Authority.

‘Samadhan Samaroh’ is a nationwide initiative undertaken by Supreme Court of India aimed at resolving disputes amicably through mediation and promoting harmony across the country. As part of this special drive, a Special Lok Adalat will be organised to resolve compoundable cases currently pending before Supreme Court through mutual settlement.

The Principal District Judge stated that the special drive will run for three consecutive days from August 21 to 23. The DLSA has urged advocates and litigants to utilise this golden opportunity to resolve their long-pending cases swiftly through mutual understanding and compromise.
