TheAP JAC Amaravati has expressed gratitude to the State government for issuing orders to conduct special Joint Staff Council meetings at district, Head of Department (HoD) and State Secretariat levels to address employees’ grievances. Welcoming GO RT No 1032, in a press release issued here on Friday, AP JAC Amaravati Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, Secretary General Palisetti Damodar Rao, Associate Chairman TV Phani Perraju and Treasurer Timmasarthi Nageswara Rao stated that the government had responded positively to a series of representations submitted by employees’ associations seeking staff welfare measures and effective grievance redressal. The leaders appreciated the government for not only issuing the orders but also specifying dates for conducting the meetings at various levels across the State. They said this initiative would help resolve departmental issues in a systematic manner and improve administrative coordination.

The AP JAC Amaravati leadership appealed to all recognised employees’ unions to make effective use of the opportunity by coordinating in advance with district officials, HoDs and Secretariat authorities and preparing proper data on pending issues for discussion during the meetings.

They noted that for the first time in the State’s history, the government had directed that Joint Staff Council meetings be conducted regularly during June, October and February 2027 at district, departmental and Secretariat levels with fixed schedules.

The employee leaders urged Collectors, Heads of Departments and departmental Secretaries to ensure that themeetings are conducted without fail and that employee issues are resolved at the respective levels so that staff members can work efficiently and continue delivering better public services.
