DistrictCollector M Vijaya Suneetha said that the primary goal of the constituency-level PGRS programme is to resolve public grievances quickly.

She received petitions from the public along with Markapur MLA Kandula Narayana Reddy at the constituency-level PGRS programme held in the town on Friday, as per government directives. Speaking on the occasion, she said that they would take the initiative to resolve all petitions within one month. She said that field surveys by officials would help find the right solutions to the petitions. She directed revenue officials to work towards this goal. She said that everyone has a responsibility to make the constituency-level PGRS programme a success, as they are undertaken for a good purpose.

Officials said that a total of 71 petitions were received at the programme. Of these, 40 were related to revenue matters, and 31 were on other issues.

Joint Collector P Srinivasulu, DRO Venkata Sivarama Reddy, RDO Prabhakar, Housing PD Mohan Rao, Panchayat Raj District Officer M Venkateswara Rao, DLDO Balu Naik, and District Education Officer S Subba Rao attended the programme.
