Tirupatimunicipal and police officials have issued a strict warning to street vendors to remove all illegal shops and food stalls from the footpaths around Alipiri immediately. The joint action follows numerous complaints from pilgrims and motorists regarding blocked walkways and severe traffic congestion.

A team led by ASP Ravi Manohara Chari and Deputy Commissioner Amaraiah inspected the area and urged vendors to vacate voluntarily or face forced eviction. Beyond transit bottlenecks, officials raised serious sanitation and safety concerns, noting that commercial food waste dumped near Zoo Park Road is actively attracting wild animals from the nearby forest area, posing a threat to passing devotees. The administration stated that regular monitoring will continue to ensure clear pathways for pilgrims.
