• Hearing aids distributed to children as part of ‘Bala Bharosa’ prog

TourismMinister Jupally Krishna Rao said the government’s goal is to eliminate the middlemen system and stressed that there should be no negligence regarding public petitions under any circumstances.

As part of the district-level programme under the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika initiative on Friday, Jupally and Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy attended as chief guests.

The event began with the singing of the Telangana State song, followed by the reading of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s speech. Details were then presented regarding the welfare schemes being implemented by the people’s government in the Wanaparthy constituency and the beneficiaries receiving assistance.

Speaking on the occasion, Jupally said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government is introducing several additional welfare schemes along with continuing existing ones. He said the government is prioritizing education and healthcare by allocating major funds to these sectors.

He instructed officials to work toward the speedy resolution of public petitions and applications and reiterated that the aim is to completely eradicate the middlemen system. He emphasized that public petitions should never be neglected and directed officials to ensure quick disposal of applications, especially those related to the Bhubharati land matters submitted by farmers.

Later, as part of the Bala Bharosa programme, hearing aids were distributed to 16 children jointly by the District Welfare Department and District Medical & Health Department. Buses were also handed over to women’s federations from Wanaparthy and Chinnambavi mandals under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme. The Agriculture Department distributed green manure and cumin seeds to several farmers.

The chief guests later visited and inspected stalls and photo exhibitions set up in the Collectorate premises.

Regarding Indiramma housing, he advised beneficiaries to construct houses within the prescribed limits, warning that exceeding the limits could push them back into debt. He instructed officials to monitor the implementation carefully.

MLA Thudi congratulated officials who are effectively implementing welfare schemes. He announced that the Young India Integrated School in Wanaparthy constituency is being built at a cost of Rs 200 crore.

A new Wanaparthy District Hospital is being constructed at a cost of Rs 203 crore, with works progressing rapidly. He also said a CT Scan facility worth Rs 2.5 crore had been established at the district hospital with CSR funds from Union Bank of India. LPG connections have also been sanctioned to implement the midday meal scheme in all schools.
