District-level youth festivals serve as an invaluable launchpad for young talent, providing a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity and skills while contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat, said District Collector G Rajakumari on Wednesday. The Collector, alongside Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari and Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya, inaugurated a district-level youth talent exhibition organized by the District Youth Welfare Department at SVR Engineering College in Ayyalur Metta.

The event featured spirited competitions in folk dance, folk singing, street plays, painting, and poetry writing. Addressing students, Collector Rajakumari advised youth to cultivate discipline, leadership, and practical skills alongside education, noting that district-level victors will advance to state and national competitions. MP Byreddy Shabari urged young participants to build leadership qualities to support national development goals under Viksit Bharat 2047 and Swarna Andhra 2047, while encouraging them to capitalize on emerging Rayalaseema employment avenues. Echoing these sentiments, Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya emphasized that youth aspirations must be actively nurtured. She noted that the government is aggressively attracting industrial investments to boost local infrastructure and create sustainable job opportunities, allowing regional youth to build careers in their home districts. She also advised students to leverage technology and social media constructively.
