BJP leader Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy on Wednesday visited Anganwadi centres at Madapuram village in Mudigonda mandal along with other BJP leaders as part of the month-long “Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan” being organised following a call by the BJP national leadership to undertake social service activities from September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the visit, he felicitated Anganwadi workers and helpers and appreciated their services. He enquired about the nutritional food, pre-school education, healthcare and other services being provided to children at the centres. He also interacted with the children and enquired about their education, health and nutrition. Sridhar Reddy said the Union government was according priority to the health, nutrition and education of children. He said the government was taking steps to strengthen the Anganwadi system and develop centres with modern facilities.

“The government’s objective is to ensure that every child, who represents the future of the country, grows up healthy, well-nourished and educated,” Sridhar Reddy said.
